This photo was taken with my first digital camera, a Kodak DC-40. It was taken while I was preparing the boat for a day of fishing at Port Canaveral. The photo has not been altered in any way to "improve" the image. It was on this day I learned the truth to the saying "Red sky in morn, Sailor take warn...."

A manatee drinking from the pee-hole while I flushed the outboards back at the marina.... Manatees seem to really enjoy drinking any freshwater they can find.
Feb 4, 2001 --- We went to the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway. The weather was cold, windy and wet, but it was interesting watching 80 something cars crowded onto the track. And loud! We sat just past the exit of the 1st infield hairpin turn.
Feb 7, 2001 --- An evening shuttle launch from my front yard....
March 8, 2001 --- The shuttle launched at 6:42 AM on a clear crisp (40deg) day. This is what the shuttle launch looks like from my front yard.
Feb 2002 --- Went to the Rolex 24 again this year. The weather was much better than in 2001.
