IMG_0997.jpg - For our excursion in Ocho Rios we were transported to the summit of a mountain in the interior of the island, and then we rode mountain bikes (mostly) downhill to the coast. Since we had had such a good time on the downhill bike ride in Skagway Alaska, I thought this would be a fun excursion. Suffice to say, I'm no longer allowed to choose excursions. There were several very steep uphill stretches and most of the "roads" we rode on were in very bad shape and some of the less bicycle savvy participants had significant issues. This stretch of road was in the best condition of any that we encountered.
